I finished off the seat ramps and consoles section then got to work on redoing the F-445 flap blocks. I didn't like the first attempt even though I followed the plans exactly. The problem was the forward attach bolt holes would end up a bit close to the inboard edge of the F-815C floor angles they mount to. This time around I drilled the left hand forward bolt hole 3 mm outboard and the right hand forward bolt hole 2 mm outboard. Then I installed them onto the flap actuator weldment and installed the aft bolts with washers and nuts. Now I could easily match drill the forward holes into the floor on my work table. I took the WD-806 and blocks off the floor then clecoed the floor back into the airplane. This made it easy to match drill F-815C to the forward bolt holes in the floor. These holes ended up right down the middle of the floor angle. I disassembled, drilled and installed platenuts for the forward bolt holes. I drilled the platenut attach holes to accept MK-319-BS blind rivets instead of using the method suggested in the instructions of grinding a pair of vise-grips down to set solid rivets.
