Sean and I had a long and productive day in the workshop today. We installed the tailcone to the forward fuselage section with cleco’s. It took a lot of time and effort to accomplish this task. Then we slipped the upper longerons in place and marvelled at just how well they fit! No need whatsoever to remove them for tweaking. We also checked the fit of the forward canopy roll bar because I was concerned it may need adjustment but it also slipped in perfectly (I got lucky with that one). Next up is to install some clamps to secure the upper longerons in position then a whole lot of drilling.
