After a very careful pre-flight I completed my first flight! I had my buddy Paul standing by on the ground with a hand held radio and had advised the tower by phone prior of the plan. Basically, I had done everything I could do and there was nothing left but line her up and go, so I did. Overall the flight went well, with no control issues on the rollout or in flight. I orbited my home-base airport for 30 minutes between Class D at 4000 and Class B at 6000. At first I had hi CHT's in the climb but they settled down when I leveled off. Other than my prop governor needing an adjustment and a half a ball out to the right at 25" X 2500 RPM it behaved nicely. See the link below to the video documenting my first flight.
