I received my ADSB600-GB UAT from NavWorx so I installed some platenuts for its installation onto the tray I fabricated a while back for it and the ELT. I punched some holes in the tray to lighten it up and re-installed it into the fuselage. I had the power, ground, and serial data wires for Altitude Encoder and Transponder code already in place. So, it was a simple matter of crimping on some pins and inserting them into their correct D-Sub holes. I installed the NavWorx console utility program onto my laptop and successfully configured the UAT. It has a WiFi adapter which I set up to talk to my iPad Mini which displays weather and traffic via the Hilton WingX Pro App. Everything worked as it should after some minor fiddling with settings etc. Now I am complying with the 2020 FAA mandate of mandatory equipping with ADSB-out. Unless they change something between now and then!
