Brief Description: Spinner / Propeller Installation - Part 2.
I removed the prop because a friend pointed out I didn't clock it in such a way that it would stop in the 10:00 / 04:00 position when shut down (this is an old school technique from the 1940's which positions the prop in the ideal clock position for hand propping). Not required but I like it that way.
I primed and painted the spinner back plate and installed it for good then re-installed the propeller. I final torqued the mounting bolts to 65 FT/LBS and safety wired them in place. Then I installed the cowl which is what I will work on next.
