Brief Description: Flap fairing improvement - Part 1.
If you refer to my log entry from 9/7/2010 you can see I didn't get a very nice joint between the aft end of the flap fairing and the fuselage. To improve on this I drilled out the blind rivets and cut off the last inch or so of the fairing. Then I applied Epoxy Resin mixed with Flox to fair it smoothly into the fuselage. This will likely take a few applications to get it to look nice.
