I started off by fabricating a longer hole duplicator tool than the one depicted on DWG 46. The one in the plans won’t reach the rivet holes that angle upwards towards the aft part of the frame. With the new tool in hand I marked and drilled 1/8" holes along the bottom of the skirt. Once those were done I employed the use of the hole locator templates I made awhile back to mark and drill the vertical holes along the frame ribs. As you can see in image 2 I didn't have the template properly positioned and completely missed the rib! Oh well, I mixed up some Micro Epoxy and filled in the hole. I kind of like this fiberglass stuff, it’s pretty easy to fix mistakes.
