Sean and I rolled the fuselage outside to warm up the canopy in the sun. Once the inside of the cockpit reached over 25 degrees Celsius I made the vertical split with the Vans supplied cutting disc set in a die grinder. All worked out pretty well with no cracks. We sanded the exposed edges smooth then rolled it back inside. It’s nice to have this step complete.
