I picked up my canopy slide rails from the powder coaters and they look great. I went with a durable textured finish because I think they will get a lot of wear and tear as you get in and out of the airplane. I installed them and cut out a piece of corrugated cardboard to assist in the planar cut which will separate the canopy into the aft sliding portion and the forward windshield portion. I took some time at the end to plan and prepare for the critical canopy trimming process I have scheduled in two days time.
