Brief Description:  Instrument panel cutouts - Part 2.

Now that I have the proper aluminum angle material (as called out for in the plans) I made another set for my battery tray side supports. The original temporary supports (made from non aviation grade aluminum) came in handy for my temporary tray location on the front of my fuselage rotating stand frame (see log entry 24 March 2011). Then onto a completely unrelated task, I marked out the positions of the cutouts for my D100 EFIS and D120 EMS units. I drilled the corners to 11/32" and used a jig saw to rough cut the openings. Then I carefully finished the outlines with a file.
