I used it to punch 2 1/4" holes in the VP-50 tray to lighten it up. I also used a technique I saw in an EAA 'how to' video to make clean holes using a hole saw. This worked very well to make the three 1 1/2" holes in the vertical portion. I decided to relocate the VP-50 CU behind the GPS where there is more room. More details on this in a future log entry.
