I fabricated a couple of heel plates out of aluminum sheet (10" X 5") to rivet onto the cockpit floor underneath the rudder pedals. The 'rabbit ears' you see in the image are temporary contact points for the company that I have ask to anodize them. I'm not even sure they can anodize Alclad 2024-T3 aluminum but I will find that out soon. I would like to anodize (black) the canopy slide rails, the heel plates and the rudder pedals.
