Today I just tinkered. Last night I finished the right elevator trim tab attach and today I am finishing the trim tabs on the left side today . The last part of the elevator I need to finish is shaving off the highlighted area of the elevator weight and cut the weights down to size. Sort of apain the ass filing down the spare lead on the two weights but rather than try to cut it with the band saw I am filing it to make sure I dont mess it up.
Maybe others used a band saw. For some reason I chose the long pain in the ass way!!
ALl in all a good fun weekend of tinkering on the tail section. Getting ready to order the wings since I will be starting the tail cone next week.
