Brief Description:  Vertical Stabilizer Started

We started the vertical stabilizer tonight. We inventoried the kit last night so I could start today. It didnt take long for me to get back into the swing of things.

I started with shaping the VS1014 L & 1014 R to fit in the spar doubler for the vertical stabilizer. The first cuts of the kit and it all went well. I then clecoed everything together and once I match drilled with the 1/8th bit I went and machine countersunk #30 across the spar doubler

I then attached the ribs and match drilled them out. I wanted to get the vertical stabilizer skin on for my completion of day 1. Many more days to go and it is 12:30 and it was along week. I am looking forward to tomorrow and getting busy on match drilling the ribs/skin so I can dimple and then take apart for primer. Making progress!!
