Worked on getting the main parts primed and painted. Was not happy with my first results of painting the main parts. Just about all of them had an orange peel effect and simply did not look good. I ended up on a couple of panels of stripping them down to bare metal and starting all over again. Finally solved the problem of the orange peel by adding a reducer to the paint (8oz paint to 1oz reducer). I ended up sanding all the pieces down (800gri t- 1000grit). I was very pleased with the out come. It just took me a couple of months to figure it out and because of weather was not able to complete this as quickly as I wanted to.
