Wanted to finish up the spar today. completed the riveting and attached the brackets. One small mistake I made was on the small right attach bracket on the forward side of the spar. I was surposed to drill two holes to # 12 for 10/32 screws. By drilling before I thought about what I was doing, I drilled the center hole to 12 instead leaving it for 1/8 rivet. No biggy, I just put an extra nutplate on the stiffener and drilled a hole in the bracket to put 3 screws in instead of two. No structural concern and i will never notice it once the floors are installed. Made the wood spacers as described in the manual. Did the trial fit and it looks great. The center section spar is completed for now. Layed out the parts for the F705 seat back. Will start on that next session.
