Wanted to spend a few hours today closing the tenk. I soaked the coverplate screws overnight in MEK. That made the proseal come off real easy. Would have used new screws but I only had an extra 6 and needed 12. Decided to follow recommendations of other builders and not use the cork gasket this time. Seemed to seal real well. Will have to recheck the cover for leaks, but will wait until I check the right tank....only one mess.
