Brief Description: Z brackets, Readied tank for sealing
Today I did a lot of busy work getting the tanks ready for sealing. Started by using a scotchbrite pad to dull the finish on the inside of the tank along the lines of the ribs, stiffeners and baffle. I did this first so I could get the skin well scuffed around the dimples. (No pictures, see tomorrow) Spent a few hours dimpling the tank skin and then finished up by priming the Z brackets and installing the nutplates. I taped off the bracket to baffle surface in order to get a good seal with the proseal.
