The fun work starts today. I wanted to get the tank stifeners , fuel filler and fuel drain attached and sealed today. cleaned the stiffeners etc with pleanty of MEK to make sure they were clean. Mixed up 60 grams of proseal with 10 graims of hardener and began the fun part of backriveting the stiffeners. went real fast. checked the shop heads for size and dabbed the rivets with additional proseal. Cleaned up the mess( not as bad as last time.) Went on the the filler ring. almost made a mistake by using to short of rivets. Quickly changed to the correct ones and back drilled the rivets. Checked shop heads and dabbed the ends with proseal. Then went on to the drain. as above. Lots of final clean up and quit for the night.
