Brief Description: Completed leading edge and Z brackets
Spent most of the day finishing the leading edge in preparation for attachment. Drilled the LE/tank attach flange, dimpled and attached the nutplates. went ahead and dimpled the skin/spar attach holes. The leading edge is ready for installation. Afterward I used Dan's method of drilling the Z brackets to the spar and tank baffle. Much easier than van's method. The baffle holes were exactly on the line drawn on the Z bracket. "VERY NICE" Next I will clean the brackets and aply a primer coat, followed by attaching the nutplates. Pulled the inboard and outboard tank riba to begin the task of installing the stiffeners, flop tube (Yes it will be safety wired) and inspection plate. Lots of small things before beginning the PROSEAL fun.
