Took the the VS assembly to the airport so Joe Williams could inspect it before I riveted the rear spar to it. He gave me the OK to go ahead and close it up. Took it home and sanded a couple spots on the front spar that got marred by the bucking bar, with red scotchbrite pad. Then I gave the spots a quick shot of primer. Image 1: Riveted the top rib and skin using the p. squeezer. The 2 forward most rivets were the most difficult to get at, and I used the thin nosed yoke on them. I started at the forward spar and worked forward and back from there on each side. Image 2: A shot of the top rib showing the shop heads. I'm fairly happy with the way these turned out. The skin nestled right up to the rib flanges. Looks good! Image 3: A shot of the rear spar clecoed in place.
