Brief Description: Drill lower skin to fuselage holes.
Paul and Harry stayed after CAP tonight. They helped to drill the lower fuselage skin to the wing. The wing already had holes in the skin and we needed to hit those holes blindly from the outside. I had already marked the wing with the lines shown. It was just a matter of extending those lines and where they crossed there should be a hole on the other side. I drilled the first one and was real close but still a little off. I then adjusted to better hit the existing holes but drill the second one way off!! Pops, wrong direction! We decided that I would just go for the crossed lines and hope for the best. All of the other holes came out so close that by the time I final drilled them for the #8 screws they all were right in the holes.
I installed the control column. Getting the washers on in that cramped area was difficult to do, but with patience and careful work it wasn't that bad.
