Fab elevator pushrods. Measure, mark, measure, cut. Fit the end pieces, drill and rivet. All and all it came out right on the money. It felt great to be working again on the project.
Let's see. It's been a month since I have done anything worthwhile. Oshkosh was great. I flew the Cessna to Fon du Lack because the ground was too soggy to camp. We left the plane there until Wednesday when I could fly into OSH. Got a great parking spot and then decided that since we were already entrenched in the EAA690 house (Epsilon Alfa Alfa house) we would just continue to crash there. I think there were 29 people sleeping all over the house. Great fun!! Then after getting back on Sunday, Wednesday CAP had a mission searching for a missing helicopter in the north Ga. Mountains. We spent three days finding it. Unfortunately there were no survivors. But we did find it and that helps the families.
