Entry number two to justify the time spent. The rear skin took a week to get prepped. One morning the 15 min was spent just clearing the bench to get ready for this large piece of metal. The next I debured one side. Then debur the other. Then dimple. Prep for primer. Paint primer and it's Friday!! Then I started on the second piece of sheetmetal.
The good news is I'm getting close to plugging the wings in and drilling the critical holes. I spent some time planning everything needed to get that step accomplished. My plan is to take the fuselage, wings and tail out to the CAP hangar since they have a large area, out of the way for assembly. After, I will need to disassemble and bring the fuselage home to finish. The longer I can keep the project home the more work can progress. Hopefully I will be able to order the finish kit soon.
