Brief Description:  Rivet ribs and skin.

Finish riveting the ribs to the spar. All the rivets to the ribs really came out better than they did on the other wing so I was pretty happy about that. But, the 6 from last night just couldn't be left. They are in the bay with an inspection cover. I know that anybody who ever looks into that bay will forever point out how horrible those rivets look and no amount of explanation will ever convince them that all of the others are perfect. So, I drilled those 6 out and with the light of a new day, a large amount of careful, and renewed determination I was able to shoot 6 very acceptable rivets.

Oh, almost forgot. Note to the one or two other people who may look at this site to gain insight on how to accomplish "building an airplane". BEFORE the leading edge gets riveted to the spar make sure the tiedown hole has been cut into the skin. Fortunately I had not riveted the skin to the spar. I was able to shim the skin away from the tiedown block and cut the hole in the skin. It took a bit of work to make the hole round and the correct size. Once that was done and the chips and shavings removed from the inside THEN I could rivet the skin.

Squeezing the rivets for the skin was so easy after the four day flog it was almost anitclimatic.
