Brief Description:  Right aileron start

Match drill the stiffiners. I made all of the stiffiners at the same time so no fabrication necessary on this part. You can see the boards laying on the skin. These are 3/8" plywood strips that are under the holes. When match drilling, I drill into these strips and coleco to them. When it comes time to backrivet the plywood holds the skin at the same height as the backrivet plate. This keeps the skin flat during the rivet process. Also one trick I learned at Oshkosh this year was to use the blue plastic covering as the backrivet tape to hold the rivets in place. Sure wish I hadn't bought that rivet tape from Vans.
Did I mention I went to Oshkosh this year? First time. Flew with Blaine Cole in his Cherokee and camped to get the complete and proper experience. I am pumped!! Now if I quit my job, step down as Squadron Commander of Civil Air Patrol GA112, stop wasting time between 1:00am and 6:30am sleeping, and just dedicate my time to building, I just might have this thing finished before next summer.
