Brief Description:  Rivet other and last (for this tank) rib

Rivet the final rib for the right fuel tank. Still have to do this all over again for the left side. I am hopeing that when I get to the other one it will go much quicker and smoother. We will see.

Mounted the float sender to mock up the next step. I had looked at this earlier and it seemed pretty straight forward. While inspecting the plans again for the 2nd, maybe 3rd, I think it was the 25th. time, I noticed that the sender units are left and right. So at the last miniute I switched the senders to the correct one. Once again its the details that will get you in trouble. You just cannot inspect, read, or memorize every detail on the plans and recall where it was on the paper or which drawing it was on. Every step requires a fair amount of planning and effort. So with that said I bent the float rod to the dimentions given. Mounted the rod into the sender and tested the float in the tank to see if it fit properly and if the ohms readings were in spec. Probably one of the easiest, simplest, and straight forward things I have accomplished so far.

Kind of like golf. One good shot keeps you from throwing your clubs away and never playing again.
