Take one 12" piece of alum. angle. Fabricate shape from angle.
I still have not gotten around to buying that band saw I keep saying I need. I tried to cut the shape roughly with a hacksaw. There is not enough time to do that, just one cut took forever. Drill press to the rescue. With an 1/8" bit I drilled a series of holes around the shape, cut that with the hacksaw (much quicker) and sanded to shape. Came out very nice, and accurate to the drawing of the pattern.
