Brief Description: Back rivet Right elevator, rivet trim tab
Finished the trailing edge of the right elevator. I used the same process as the left one and it came out very nice. It took about 15 min to rivet, thing move right along when you know what you are doing. I fit the fiberglass tips to the elevators, both sides. It required just a small amount of modification to fit. They really look good.
Planned the hinge for the trim tab. Drilled and debured hinge. Glued the foam ribs into the trim tab and riveted the hinge and ends. This really was not that hard to build. The bending of the ends is kind of scary because you only get one chance but, with careful planning it came out very nice.
