Brief Description:  Rivet skin to spar, rivet skin to ribs

Rivet lower skin to spar. This required a mix of solid and pop-rivets. A little planning is required. The skin and spar must be dimpled, so knowing which rivets will go into which holes is important. After match drilling the holes I checked with the squeezer how far the reach would be and marked the skin so I would not forget. Solid rivets are -3s and the pop-rivets are -4 so the dimples are made different. There are no instructions as to what size to make the holes for the pop-rivets so I drilled them #31 instead of #30. It's just one size smaller but it makes the rivet hole just right after dimpling for the pop-rivets. Rivet the counterweight skin. Rivet the ribs to the skin. I went ahead and fit the fiberglass tip to the elevator so I could get the holes correct. Drilled the trailing edge pieces. Debur all trailing edge holes and countersink the trailing edge wedge piece.

I still need to set the rivets in the trailing edge but I will wait and get the left elevator ready so I will only make one batch of pro-seal and then do both elevators at the same time.
