Brief Description: Rivet tailcone and start the bottom of side skins
Rivet tailcone to side skins. I started at the rear of the assembly and riveted the tailcome to the side skins. Rivet the bukheads to the side skins. The instructions explain that the side skin should not be riveted all the way to the top. You should stop at the top of the upper stringer because the skins will need to be pulled away from the bulkheads to install the longerons. Since the upper stringer does not come all the way to the rear I got carried away with the very last bukhead. I may have to drill out the top couple rows of rivets when I get to that stage, we'll wait and see if I can sneek it in later. If not then the drill will have to come out!
I also began to rivet the bottom of the side skins to the bottom panel. It's hard to rivet with the rivets upside down. I was able to get to the ones near the tailcone rather easily but the ones further down may present a problem. We'll see.
