Drill the anchors. Once again I found the directions later AFTER I had drilled the parts. First I bolted the ends with three washers between the parts. The I put a 3/16 spacer at the bottom. With both halfs clamped and straight to each other I lined them up on the doubler and drilled. Vans wanted to drill one half and then drill the other with the spacer in between. I checked the hols I drilled and they are within 1/16 of spec. I think they will be OK.
Prep and prime all the parts. You will notice that I am priming all of the interior parts. I did not prime any of the wings or tail. My plan is to spray CorrosionX into all the wing and tail internals after paint is applied. Hopefully a nice Ferrari red (Rosso Corsa for those who know) with a prancing horse on the tail. The interior must be tan. So as I get close to finishing the fuselage I will be able to paint the tan since it will already be primed.
