Brief Description: Finish dimple skin and mount to wing.
Finished dimpling the outboard skin. Cleaned the edges and mounted skins to the wing spar and ribs. Check for level and twist, all still good. Now ready for rivets. Things are moving quickly now. In just a couple of weeks I have finished the tank, built the leading edge, cut in the landing light, and gotten the top skins ready to be riveted.
Now who can I find on short notice to help? Well, Frank Spence who is friends with my wife said that one day he would like to get his photo on this log (blog). Frank knows everybody who's anybody in Atlanta. Frank is a great guy and wanted to have bragging rights that he helped to build an airplane. So the die is cast. I made the call. Frank will be here tomorrow.
