Harry came by to help tonight. We installed the flaps and started to cut the hole in the fuselage for the flap control rods. I cut the hole large enough for the rod to just fit through and began to enlarge the hole as necessary. I'm trying to keep the hole to some minimum size. It was at this point the flap motor rod end came off and that necessitated removing the assembly from the plane.
We were getting cold and decided this was a good stopping point. There is always Thursday.
