For the last few days I've been adapting a Cirrus heater/defroster box to this airframe. I've got most of the issues worked out, including changing the defroster valve to provide that when the defroster cable is pushed in, the valve is closed, and opens when pulling the knob. I also made the flange for the defroster to attach to the defroster hose. The heater/defroster box has two inch flanges, so I'm using two inch scat tubing. I made the defroster flange from two bid fiberglass, by applying it to an empty caulking tube, which is just under two inches in diameter. Worked perfectly. Today I bonded the flange to the defroster.
