Brief Description:

I'm still working on the plane essentially every day. But to look at it, there's been little change for a while. I'm working out the routing for static lines, antenna cable and various wires, from the instrument panel to the rear. The hard part about that is making sure that there is sufficient spacing between cables, wires, etc. and flight controls. It does get a bit crowded. Today I also drilled holes in the fuselage sides for the static ports, and re-filled the holes with flox to provide a hard point for attaching the aluminum ports.

Saturday I went back to the airport to retrieve the loose parts removed from the engine, so now I've got some more boxes of stuff. Great.

Today also I spent some time with TJ from B&C Specialties, making sure that I get the right regulators for the primary and backup alternators. I'm still working on planning the power grid, and want to make sure that I know exactly what hardware I will be using.

Also found out that the spinner that came with the prop is too small. Too bad. It is a nice polixhed aluminum spinner, but 14 inches in diameter instead of the 16 inch needed.
