Today I added the flange to support the vertical portion of the hatrack. There is no manual reference to this modification, but lots of builders have done this, and it makes a lot of sense. The fuselage narrows considerably as it approaches the empenage. The stresses on this part of the fuselage can be great, Without manual direction, I chose four bid, but now I believe that may be a bit low. Tomorrow I'll consider adding two more layers to this component.
While waiting for that to cure, I shaped a bracket to hold the parking brake control cable thimble. Turned out pretty well. Too bad it will be invisible.
