I've finally got the flaps put away for a while, though I did drop one on its corner, and had to spend some time with a small repair. Now I've turned to creating the flap and fuel access panels. Manual is not, gasp, the model of clarity in this regard, but I think I have it figured out. I've got both access panels on the left side cut out now, and will be able tomorrow to begin cretaing the flanges to mount the nutplates.
