Brief Description:

As usual, I'm good at working every day on the plane, but not so good about logging. Since last time, I've got one blister finished, and the inspection panel ready to prime, and the other is just about ready for final sanding and filling. I've had a bit of a frustrating time with the primer, though. When sanding, the primer clogs the sandpaper readily. I have found, though, that if I put no pressure on the sanding block, and just let the paper do the work, I can keep the paper free of clogs, especially with very frequent wetting. I've just about finished wet sanding the belly, down to 150 grit, which is where I will stop for now. The primer is thin enough in places to that I sanded through it into the underlying micro, or the glass, So I think another coat is necessary. I'm going to see if I can spray that on, but the weather will have to cooperate, as I am not going to atttempt that task inside. I've also got the underside of each gear leg fairing filled, sanded and ready to prime, They really look good.
