Brief Description:

No pix tonight, because they would really not show much. Today I filled more pinholes, and prepped the front third of the fuselage for primer by adding a very thin layer of micro to fill pinholes. Almost all of that micro will be sanded off tomorrow.

After dinner, I went downstairs, turned out the lights, and directed a flashlight at low level down the belly. As much as I've block sanded over the last week or so, it still showed lumps and bumps previiously undetected. I know it's the belly, but it's also my practice area. I'm learing what it really takes to get the surface ready for paint. One thing I've learned is to block thoroughly after the first coat of primer, before filling any pinholes. New pinholes pop up every time I block sand. Not many, and not deep, but there nevertheless. There's no need to fill them and smooth them out until the overall surface is thoroughly blocked.
