Brief Description:

Since the last post, I've drilled out the backing plates, and countersunk the holes for the flat head machine screws. For that, I had to get a new countersink bit, and was able to get some help from my frined who graciously let me use his Bridgeport for the process. After that, I primed and painted the backing plates. Today I began mounting the receptacles, and learned that the screws supplied with the kit are not all the correct length. That's somewhat problematic, for these flat head machine screws are not commonly carried at the usual aircraft parts retailers. Anyway, I did have enough properly sized screws to mount the receptacles sufficiently to begin the wheel alignment process.
