I've been working, but not logging much. The left aileron is pretty well done and balanced. The last couple of days I've built and bonded on fairings to cover the fuel tank sump drain. I first made a wooden mold of the proper shape, then laid three bid over the mold. After that, I inserted a cotter pin to anchor safety wire, and filled the underside of the fairing with flox. Next I drilled a hole to allow for a socket wrench into the fairing, and Hysoled the fairing to the wing, using a socket taped up to center the fairing on the valve. When all is cured, I'll smooth up the whole bit with micro and call it done. This is a lot more work than the method suggested in the manual, but it provides more uniformity and looks better.
