I'm finally beginning to believe that the end of the second aileron nightmare is at hand. The last couple of nights I have trimmed and sanded the trailing edges of the aileron, flap and wing tip to align with each other. There's still a bit of fine detail to go, but all seems well as it sits now. Next I have to flip the wing over and fine tune the aileron gaps, both to the wing, flap and wing tip. Assuming that all goes well, it will be time to check aileron travel, and add lead counterbalance to the aileron.
