I've made reasonable progress, given the holidays, but my computer went awry, so no posting. With new computer in lap, I can begin again documenting the effort. Since closing the wing and repairing the one leak that I found easily, I still had a very, very slow leak. It literally took over a day to show pressure loss, but it was there, and I couldn't ignore it, no matter how slow. I was about to consider popping the lower skin and starting over. But one night I decided to browse the entire Lancair Mailing List. One builder noted that the fuel drain came from the factory not quite tight. Well, that set off the lightbulb. I had forgotten to tighten the fuel drains, Out of sight, out of mind. So after seeing to that, the fuel bays held pressure for days. Done.
After that, I fit and balanced the aileron, and began the flap construction.
