Yesterday and today I continued the tedious but necessary task of fitting the ribs to the wing skins. Fitting to the upper skin, the one in the cradles, is pretty straightforward, but it still takes time to get the ribs to fit closely. But I am making progress. All but three of the twenty-three ribs are fitted to the upper skin, and seven are completely fitted to both skins. I can do two to three ribs per hour to the upper skin, but it takes sometimes an hour to fit one rib to the lower skin. More tomorrow.
