Brief Description:

Since Friday I've continued working on aligning the flap, aileron and now the wing tip. Things are going well with the flap/aileron junction, and the flap gap. The wing tip is a bit more problematic, as it is about 1/2 inch too short, chordwise. This will require lengthening the 1/4 inch thick trailing edge, and blending the addition upward and forward as the tip sweeps up. I figured that the best way to do this was to split the two tip halves at the trailing edge, and far enough forward to allow the two halves to be seperated enough to lay 4-bid on the inside of both halves then bond them together again. Because of the curved upsweep of the tip, I shaped some aluminum to act as a form, weighed it all down, and laid the bid on the lower half today.
