Brief Description:

The past few days I've been trying to get the upper wing skin and flap to mate well, with the proper gap, before I secure both in the cradles, and begin fitting the ribs and spars, and locate the flap hinge hardware. The flap is a huge item, and getting all that length of flap a consistent .05 inch distance from the skin is no small task. I know that I can adjust some later, with micro on the leading edge of the flap, and sanding on the wing skin, it seems best to get this gap as close as possible at this step.

The process is quite tedious, with multiple fitting, sanding, filling, etc. But tonight I think I'm pretty close. I had to remove the prior application of 3 bid from the wing skin in the flap area, and re-apply tonight. Hopefully tomorrow It will be close enough to suit.
