Santa (a/k/a UPS) brought the fuel probe for the left wing today. Seems really simple. I resisted the temptation to begin installation of that piece tonight, though, and continued with the aileron controls. Toward that end, I measured, cut and completed the outboard control rod, the one leading from the bellcrank to the actuator arm. That enabled the first remote actuation of the aileron, which occupied quite a bit of time and produced no small amount of satisfaction. Next was securing a rod end to one end of a 7/8 inch rod to go between the bellcrank and idler arm. Then I drilled the mounting holes for the idler arm, and mocked it up. All looks good for now.
