The last few nights have not given much time for work, but I have made some progess. First, I decided, with some help from the LML, to grind out a bit of the aft aileron ribs to accommodate the aileron leading edge radius. Now there is adequate clearance for the specified range of travel for the aileron. Next is mounting the aileron actuating arm. To do that, I decided to make sure that the actuator arm, bellcrank, idler, and all aileron push rods are aligned, so there will be no backtracking to achieve alignment. First task was to reinforce the BL 145.5 forward rib, by removing one side of the honeycomb and bid, then forming the micro fillets. Tomorrow I'll add 8 bid to the bellcrank mounting area. After that, tonight I marked and drilled the access holes for the aileron tubes.
