While the outboard capstrips came out fine, I decided to go more slowly from here on. There was just too much time pressure for that amount of layups. So today, I took some time to clean up the flox pad on the bottom of the main spar, before laying up the aft capstrips adjacent to the flap area. After that, I taped up the six inboard aft ribs, then laid up only the outboard three capstrips. This gave me plenty of time to do a careful layup, with no time pressure. This slowed down method will require about three or four more days to complete the capstrips, but the product will be better. Then I can take my time reinforcing.
